To be able to use the activity, you need to install VMware PowerCLI on the Resolve Actions Express Executor server.

note

The activity does not support a 32-bit MS Windows installation.

Activity Description​

Retrieves a list of Virtual Machines on the entire vCenter or a specific host.

Output​

A list of Virtual Machines.

Settings​

  • Host Name—The host name or IP address. This must be either the vCenter device or the ESXi device (you can configure the device with Platform type vCenter/ESXi under Devices).
  • User Name—The user name of an account that has read/write access to the host.
  • Password—The password of the account listed in the User Name field.
  • Filter (Folder/Datastore/Cluster)—Filters the results based on the option selected (Folder, Datastore, or Cluster).
